Kempsey Race Club secretary John Graham encourages locals to attend for an enjoyable day of racing and to contribute to a much-needed cause.
"We are happy to announce we will be donating the gate to either the Rural Fire Service or those who have been impacted by the bushfire to the west of Kempsey," Graham told the Argus.
"It should be a great day of racing and it will be made even better knowing we are helping those in need."
It marks the first race meeting since the Kempsey Cup was called-off early on November 8 due to a lack of air quality.
