Despite the format dropping from 40 overs to 20 overs for a handful of weeks, Rovers captain Ethan Dowling said his side won't change their mindset heading into matches.
"We don't really change our approach to matches, we just have to play a lot smarter and take chances when they come," Dowling told the Argus.
"It's pretty basic. We have to do everything right, take our chances and we should be right."
Rovers, who sit in second position on the table, will take on the third placed Wingham outfit first before they face Taree West in the afternoon.
Dowling admits his side will need to get on the front foot early.
"I am expecting Wingham to come out strong again, they are a handy team," Dowling said.
"It's the same with Taree West, we haven't played them this year but from the look of the team they are a team to watch."
In the shorter format, Dowling acknowledges his fieldsmen need to be on their toes.
"Fielding has to be near perfect, every run counts in both games."
Dowling is hopeful Kurt Prosper, who he says excels in Twenty20s, will have a big couple of games.
Tim Smith, Jack Wakley and Josh Swan will miss the content will Dowling, Dan Wade and Scott Williams will come into the side.
It will be Williams' debut Premier League match.
The Premier league competition will remain in the Twenty20 format for rounds 12-14 before returning to 40-over in February.
The semi-finals are scheduled to begin on March 21 and the top four will qualify for the elimination series.
