"Rehearsals have moved from those early tentative stages to a point where the cast members have taken full control of their characters. The play now has the dynamic force the script always promised to deliver. Audiences will be amazed at their performances and by the power of the play," Mr Dockrill said.
Flame Trees is set in a hotel in the fictitious country town of the same name.
Terry Kennedy, the central character, returns after 10 years away. He is still haunted by the past and finds that the old conflicts and tensions are still alive and ready to engulf him.
The play will run for the first three weekends in February. All performances will be at The Bandbox Theatre at Kempsey except for Friday February 7 when it will be a special theatre restaurant performance at Lou Kesby's The Bank Conformance Centre with only 40 seats available on that night.
Tickets can be purchased online at Ticket Host or in person at Coastline Credit Union, Hour Glass Jewellers or at Lou's Café for the theatre restaurant performance.
