In 2020, a third of the 80 courses on offer were new, ranging from flash mob dance through to building an electric guitar, said chairperson Paul Holding.
"There's an increased focus on sustainable living, including the new courses in bee-keeping, kid's nature exploration and eco-living," he said.
This year, Shalla Thomas from Coffs Harbour enrolled in her 20th Camp Creative course.
Not for the first time, she was doing Carving Hebel Sculpture with Adriaan Vanderlugt, who comes down from the Whitsundays to teach it.
In previous years, Shalla has done African drumming, African dancing, photography, basket weaving, portraiture and more - some of them several times.
She said she's loved them all but African Dancing was definitely one of her favourites.
Another new course this year was Art in Panorama - Concertina Sketchbooks, run by Sharron Arnold, whose work is regularly exhibited across the Mid North Coast.
She had created an exemplar focusing on the Bellingen streetscape a year ago, sitting at different spots along Hyde St and sketching the buildings.
She then used mixed media techniques to augment and texture the drawings, for example by adding photos of people cut from local magazines and representing the filigree on the top of the Federal Hotel with the top of a page torn from a spiral-bound notepad.
