Jean Dew has been umpiring the game of bowls for 30 years and is far from retiring - well done Jean.

Faye Puckeridge has also celebrated this week with a fantastic record of 40 years on the bowling green.

Faye has won many awards playing bowls and the lid of her bowls bags is proof of how good of a player Faye is. We wish her many more wins in the future.

Sunday January 26 will hopefully see many bowlers help celebrate Australia Day at the Urunga bowling club with play to commence at 1pm. Put on your best Aussie gear and come on down for some fun, ladies and gents.
