Rilee O'Loughlin, Emma Ross and Macleay conference administrator and captain Kate Jackson were guided by coach Adam Broderick in the victorious Chargers team at the SCG on January 21.
Jackson won the grand final toss against the Australian Capital Territory Aces. The Chargers elected to bat first with the goal of making a run a ball for a 120 total.
The Chargers excelled early making 152 runs for two wickets. The Aces mustered 110 runs from five wickets in their 20 overs, unable to match the first innings run rate.
Charers' Hannah Faux, who finished the first innings on seven runs not out, said the win was amazing and she was starstruck.
"It was amazing and I was pretty starstruck just to be able to play there. It was a lot different to Oxley Oval," she said.
"The grounds are so true, it's very pristine and you can see the history of the grounds.
"I got to bat five overs in the grand final, I was a bundle of nerves waiting to go out there and made seven runs.
"There was people from Newcastle, the Australian Capital Territory and definitely some pretty high level players there. It was good to be among them.
"It's pretty awesome to take it out the first year and it makes you hungry to win it again next year."
Faux also celebrated a hat trick taking four wickets for 11 runs in the Chargers semi-final win over the Newcastle Blasters. Port Macquarie team mate Sophia Mavros bowled three wickets in the grand final.
Chargers coach Adam Broderick from Port Macquarie, said he'd insisted players seize the opportunity to put their team name on the inaugural Regional Bash trophy in it's first outing.
"Since I've landed back in town (on Wednesday) the phone has been going mad. It's an incredible win," he said.
"Our plan was always to stay positive and play aggressive. I just said to the girls let's be the first names on the trophy, it's there for the taking and there's no names on it.
"There was some pretty talented girls from all regions. There was a fair few talented cricketers and it was an excellent experience for myself and all the girls."
Mr Broderick and Chargers players also toured the SCG facilities including members areas and the third umpire box.
Chargers opening batswoman Naomi McDonald was crowned as Player of the Match after making an unbeaten 90 from 72 balls.
"The standard of cricket in the inaugural tournament was outstanding and I congratulate the winners on their fantastic achievement," said Acting Minister for Sport, Geoff Lee.
"Women's cricket has experienced enormous success both on and off the pitch and the sport continues to grow.
"The NSW Government is proud to support the NSW Women's Regional Bash which enhances the playing pathways for female cricketers while actively encouraging more women to take up the sport."
