Bathurst-based singer/song-writer Melissa Robertson is another one of those who will grace the Macksville Music Muster main stage from March 12-15.
Melissa says she has been singing all her life, from the time she was in a kinder-choir aged four.
Her school years saw her expand her range with more choirs, school musicals and rock bands. She also learnt the guitar. After school teaching placements in Dalby and Charlieville saw her get hooked on the country music scene, of which she has been a part ever since.
Marriage and children slowed her down for a while but a weekend away at a music muster saw her flair for performance reignited and she began studying her art and writing her own songs.
In 2012, while on the Central Coast, her music took a leap and her songs started rating in the charts for which she picked up a few awards.
Strongly influenced by Casey Chambers, as well as Luke O'Shea, Melissa connects to her audience through her songs and music, bringing people together to share good times and good music.
Also appearing at the Muster will be Vanessa Sanger, Pete Smith, Trinity Woodhouse, Glen Albrecht and many more.
