President of the Business Chamber Scott Marsh said many local businesses have been impacted by the restrictions.
"The easing of restrictions will provide a boost for businesses that have either had to close, reduce opening hours or services during the pandemic. We are encouraging locals to support businesses that have been impacted," Mr Marsh said.
"With cafes and restaurants being able to offer dining services at a restricted level, the larger establishments might not be able to reopen because of the cost. Having only 10 people inside at a time would not be worth reopening for some hospitality businesses."
Mr Marsh also said the chamber encourages local businesses to expand their services where they can.
"Cafes and restaurants being able to seat up to 10 people from tomorrow will be a boost to hospitality businesses in the Macleay. We encourage businesses to take this opportunity and return to some form of normality.
"It's really great to see some of the restrictions eased and hopefully we will see it continue to allow more businesses to return to normal practices.
"It has been very difficult for a number of businesses to continue to operate during this time and they have suffered financial losses because of it."
Mr Marsh said although some restrictions will ease tomorrow, locals should still be following social distancing rules and good hygiene practices as we slowly move out of lockdown.
"We need to ensure people are still following the guidelines around social distancing and good hygiene. Businesses have also introduced stricter rules and practices to help stop the spread."
