It's regarding works associated with the pending lighting of the old Macksville traffic bridge - and the disruption will be significant, albeit temporary.
As they say, you can't make an omelette without cracking an egg or three.
Nambucca Valley Council is giving residents a heads-up that that works are about to start in relation to the Macksville Bridge Lighting Project.
The works are due to start on June 8 and run for a fortnight, from 7am to 4pm weekdays.
The impact to traffic will be minimal for vehicles entering the CBD, but significant for those leaving the town centre during working hours.
Traffic Control will be in place from 7am to 4pm Monday to Fridays:
Ferry St - No right turn
Partridge St - No right turn
River St/Wallace St/Winifred St - No left turn.
There will be no change to bus routes, with council to liaise with Busways accordingly.
