The centre only opened in December last year before it was forced, like so many other businesses, into hibernation following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in March.
It is managed under a partnership between NSW National Parks Association, the Bellingen Environment Centre and the Nambucca Valley Conservation Association and fulfils a dual role: servicing visitors with information provided by local businesses as well as promoting the benefits of the Great Koala National Park.
