The Macleay Valley Rangers women's side managed to put away Port FC in an extremely convincing display with a 23-0 scoreline.
Rangers managed to have nine players hit the back of the net with five unluckily missing out.
Serenity Clancy and Alyce Morn proved to hard to handle for Port FC with both of them scoring six goals each.
Mylina Clancy scored three, Shelby Coleman and Marrenyingke Pearce a brace each whilst Emma Tamblyn, Lisa-Maree Morn, Ashley Llewellyn and Deni Anderson all put away one goal.
The Rangers large victory is even more astounding considering the team hadn't completed a contact training session prior to the match.
"Because of COVID-19 and the fact we only train once a week we won't have had any contact sessions in preparation for Saturday," coach Emma Tamblyn told the Argus before the match.
"What we've been doing at training will be fine and every other team is pretty much in the same position."
Before the game, Tamblyn explained the competition was hard to predict.
"Everything is unknown - there's different expectations coming into the games," she said.
"People are over sitting around but so we're excited and ready to get back in."
Rangers next game will be against the Wauchope Cedars.
It was a reasonably successful weekend for the majority of Macleay based women sides with South West Rocks Stingers defeating Port Saints Foxes 3-0, Kempsey Saints had a day out with a 6-1 victory over the Camden Haven Redbacks.
Unfortunately the Lower Macleay Brumbies lost to Port United 14-0 whilst the Upper Macleay Yowies had the bye.
