THREE people have been charged after a pedestrian was allegedly punched, kicked and robbed in broad daylight at West Kempsey at the weekend.

At about 3.50pm on Saturday, a 29-year-old old Kempsey woman was walking east on River St, when a gold coloured Mazda sedan pulled up near the woman.
Two women got out of the car and allegedly assaulted the 29-year-old by punching and kicking her before taking her mobile phone and leaving the scene in the vehicle.
Police attended, and the woman suffered a graze to the bridge of her nose that occurred during the alleged robbery.
As a result of inquiries, police arrested three people that day.
A 38-year-old man from West Kempsey was charged him with aggravated robbery and use corporal violence, robbery in company, and traffic and drug offences. He was the alleged driver. He was conditionally bailed to Kempsey Local Court today.
A 25-year-old West Kempsey woman was charged with aggravated robbery and use corporal violence and robbery in company. She was bail refused to appear at Kempsey Local Court today.
A 32-year-old West Kempsey woman was charged with aggravated robbery and use corporal violence and robbery in company. She was also bail refused to appear at Kempsey Local Court today.
