Coach Ben Marks said the girls were over the moon with the win but even happier to show off their attacking skills.
"They were pretty stoked to win but more excited about exercising their attacking prowess and utilise possession," he told the Argus.
"It was a great opportunity to build confidence and put in place the skills we work on in training."
Marks also added how good the standard of football is this year.
"I've been really impressed with the quality of football in the women's competition - there's some really good players and teams," he said.
In other Women's Northern League results, the Macleay Valley Rangers women won 3-0 against Wauchope Cedars.
Goalscorers for Rangers were Alyce Morn with a brace and Serenity Clancy.
Kempsey Saints also continued their good form in freezing, windy conditions at Eden Street Playing Fields to defeat South West Rocks Stingers 6-1.
Unfortunately, the Upper Macleay Yowies suffered a 3-0 away loss at the hands of Western Phoenix.
