Just before 11.30am, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance after a report of a serious trail bike accident in a remote area of Werrikimbe National Park.
Initial reports suggested the rider had suffered serious injuries after he came off his trail bike while riding on a remote trail.
Paramedics met with the helicopter with the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team stabilising the 59-year-old who was suffering serious elbow injuries and fractures.
