Bellingen Shire Arts Week is filling the gap left by the postponement of the hugely popular Camp Creative, so if you want to immerse yourself in a hands-on experience, or just stand back and admire, put the events of January 10-17 on your bucket list.
Come and be part of a week-long celebration of our shire's unique beauty and passion, with more than 100 arts and music activities, exhibitions, workshops and performances by local artists and artisans from Dorrigo, Bellingen and Urunga.
You'll be amazed by the variety of events - 2D and 3D art, many styles of music, drama, poetry, buskers, pavement art and more.
There are 25 different workshops to choose from. To name just a few - writing memoirs, model making, natural fibre weaving, watercolour painting, wood carving, pottery and storytelling.
Head to the website and check out all the activities and information.
Events will be happening across Bellingen Shire - including Dorrigo, Bellingen and Urunga townships - in various town venues, and across the surrounding area at artists' workshops and studios.
Organisers say Arts Week will definitely go ahead as planned in January 2021, with all COVID-19 precautions in place.
