FOR THE Nambucca Strikers Football Club - 2020 was an incredible, unprecedented season, one that looked like, at one stage, being a non-event.

However, due to the hard work of the NSFC committee, our season started in July and went into full swing from there.
Our training, games and spectator experiences were far from normal and at times, downright frustrating, but at all times, the committee worked tirelessly to provide a COVID-19 safe and regulation adherent environment for all those involved in our club and games.
Just as our training and game day experiences were changed, so was the way both our Junior and Senior Presentations were held.
Due to number restrictions, the Junior Presentation was held on October 24, in timeslots dedicated to one team at a time. While far from our usual fun day, it did seem to be a more team orientated and player focussed time.
Our Senior Presentation was held at Nambucca Leagues and Sports Club where we were able to fit and stick to the COVID-19 restrictions. It was a fun night and we look forward to a more straight forward year next season.
Our Perpetual Trophies went to:
NSFC Player of the Year - Rick Welsh
Senior Men's Players' Player - Corey Forbes
Senior Women's Player of the Year - Anna Champion
Most Outstanding Team - NSFC Over 30s women
Most Outstanding Achievement by a Team - U12 all girls
Most Improved Team - U14s
Goal Keeper of the Year - Rhiannon Cooke-Jones
Coach of the Year - Grant Martin
Female Club Person of the Year - Pam Chase
Club Person of the Year - Cressida Usher (accepted by son Ethan Usher).
