With Twenty/20 fixtures in town, South West Rocks hosted their first Premier League match of the season between Rovers and Port Magpies.
Rovers were sent into bat and were in trouble early at 4/43.
Brothers Mitchell and Jackson Korn joined together to bring solidarity to their sides innings with a 31-run partnership.
Mitchell departed on 32 with the score 5/74 with Jackson continuing to work away with the tail to lift their score.
Jackson was the last to be dismissed on 32 with Daniel Wade (16 n.o) and Matt Scott (7 n.o) adding on runs at the end as Rovers finished 9/131 from 40 overs.
Cooper Petterson (4/21 off 8) then grabbed the new ball and continued what has been a fantastic season to dismantle the Magpies top to middle order.
At 8/41 the game looked dead and buried but a fightback was in the offing as first drop Charles Adnum was joined by captain Adam Broderick.
Rovers bowlers fought hard with Lachlan Munday finishing with 2/16 off 6 overs whilst Matt Scott was delighted post-game with his economic 1/10 off 8 overs.
Both batsman took the game to Rovers with the former finishing on 53* while Broderick tallied 37 runs to be not out as the Magpies reached the total in the 38th over.
