Five-year-old Elkie Mae Riach has become the third Kempsey Macleay Physical Culture Club member to win the Grand Champion title at the prestigious competition.
Competitors are judged on their posture, flexibility, core body strength, rhythm and coordination.
Elkie Mae excelled under the pressure and was judged as the best performer in her 5-year age group.
Mother Amy Riach said she is incredibly proud of her daughter.
"She started when she was two and she puts in a lot of hard work, she just loves it," Amy said.
"I'm very proud of her and what she has achieved."
Kempsey Macleay Physical Culture dance teacher Terri Hill said Elkie worked really hard to prepare for the competition.
"It's really out of this world that she did so well and was awarded Grand Champion for her age group," she said.
"She's a little trooper and gave 150 per cent every practice."
Elkie was one of six Kempsey Macleay Physical Culture dancers to progress through to the state competition, after they earned wins at a regional and zone level.
Seven-year-old Ivy Hudson placed 3rd in her age group, nine-year-old Sienna Allen was named a finalist in her division, 11-year-old Hollie Riach placed 6th, 16-year-old Jai Pierce was named finalist and Nina Overton was also a finalist in the Advanced Ladies State Grand Final division.
"It's incredible to see them develop and progress, to see how far they've come," Terri said.
"I'm very proud of them."
