"Residents in Willawarrin, South West Rocks, Taylors Arm, Scotts Head and Bowraville are scheduled for a visit from Golden Wattle starting on Friday, February 5," Federal Member for Cowper Pat Conaghan said.
"Golden Wattle delivers tailored support and information to people in rural and regional communities; these trucks are purpose-built to replicate a service centre, complete with the latest technology.
"As it continues its travel through the region, it will provide a great deal of support for locals by offering face-to-face services such as help with Centrelink claims, Medicare registrations and other online services."
Residents can still conduct Centrelink and Medicare business online; however, staff from Golden Wattle can help support locals and make sure they're confident in completing their business online.
The Golden Wattle truck will be in Willawarrin on Friday, February 5 and South West Rocks on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 9 and 10.
It will also visit Taylors Arm on Thursday, February 11; Scotts Head on Friday, February 12 and Bowraville on Monday, February 15 and Tuesday, February 16.
Operated by Services Australia, three Golden Wattle trucks make up the Mobile Service Centre fleet, which has delivered essential government services to almost 160,000 customers, and collectively travelled over 900,000 kilometres, visiting over 5,200 communities.
