
Heading into February, the first Saturday of the month at the Kempsey Golf Club saw the staging of the 2021 Ray & Liz Campbell 18 hole Single Stroke event for the Monthly Medals in each grade on the day.
With a field of 96 players hitting off the players found the course in very good shape with the help of the volunteers during the week out on the course.
To Ray & Liz a mighty big thank you goes to you both for your support on the day and hope it's on again next year.
Dane Grabbe returned to the winners circle on Saturday in the 'A' grade after a very good round of golf which saw him return a net score of 67 for the medal on the day.
Peter Townsend another player who played well on Saturday was the runner up player in the top grade with a net 68.
Up and coming junior Richard Campbell (jnr) is fast improving his game and on Saturday won the 'B' grade medal with a very good score of net 69.
Tony May continue his fine form of late to receive the runner up prize with his net 70.
In the 'C' grade on Saturday the winner was Shane Holten with 6 under par score of 66 to claim the medal in his grade.
The runner up spot went Ray Moodie with his net score 70.

All 3 winners of the medals will now be in the 2020-21 playoff for the gold medals in November 2021.
Taking out the best gross score sin each grade on Saturday were Ross Leopold in 'A' with a score 76, while in the 'B' grade it was Campbell with his round of 85 and with a score of 89 Holten won the 'C' grade.
The winners of the ntp's at the 3rd hole were Col Habgood 'A', Jeff Black 'B', Dan Cater 'C', Pam Bruce 'L'. On the 8th hole the winners were Adam Hudson 'A', Jeff Black 'B'.
The winners at the 11th hole were James Benson 'A', Max Gleeson 'B', Austin Northey 'C'. The 16th hole winners were David Welsh 'A', Max Gleeson 'B', Dan Cater 'C', Maddison Butterfield 'L'.
This week's winner of the super tee ntp on the 18th hole was Luke Morris who was playing in the very last group of the day and produced a wonderful shot to the green for the victory.
Saturday at the Kempsey Golf Club is going to be a very special day with the staging of the Alan MacDonald Memorial Day as part of the 2021 Boardshorts Day where all players must be dressed in their best or worst boardshorts to be eligible for the major prizes on offer.
You must be present at the time of the presentation to collect the prizes.
