Trish has been the Horse Steward since 2018 and said many riders will be champing at the bit to get out onto the ring in April following the cancellation of agriculture shows last year.
"The Kempsey Show will be one of the first on the Mid North Coast for horse riders to compete in," she said.
"We will have horse events for everyone including show jumping, which will be held in the main arena over the two days, campdraft and sporting events for children."
Trish has been busy hand making floral garlands for all of the winning champions in this year's show.
"Because of COVID-19 my cake business has been quiet and I decided to start making the garlands for this year's show as well as for other shows," Trish said.
"I really want to improve the horse section every year to keep competitors coming back while also encouraging more to join."
Entry for the horse section will be different this year, instead of competitors turning up on the day and buying their tickets, they will be required to enter prior to the show.
"Pre-entry will be through a site called Nominate and we're expecting them to be open next week," Trish said.
Keep up to date with all of the details and events planned for the 2021 Kempsey Show through their Facebook page.
The 2021 Kempsey Show will be held on April 13 and 14 at the Kempsey Showground.
