It also curtailed our major fund-raising events - the Car Boot Markets at the Macksville showground.
Fortunately for us, our tireless President, Lyn Huggins, and other members and helpers decided to make high quality face masks to raise much needed funds.
These were made from pure cotton materials and were sold through our shop and a variety of other outlets.
Lyn and her happy band of co-workers spent weeks making masks and distributing them far and wide. This enabled us to support community efforts against COVID-19 and raise much needed funds to keep out shop afloat.
We were also then in a position to donate some funds to the McGrath Foundation.

We know the McGrath Foundation will use these funds to support and continue their excellent work assisting women diagnosed with breast cancer throughout and after their treatments.
