A 32-year-old Kempsey man and a 33-year-old woman from Bulahdelah have been arrested following a vehicle pursuit through Kempsey and Dondingalong.

About 12.45pm on Tuesday March 16, Mid North Coast police were patrolling South Kempsey when they attempted to pull over a Nissan Pulsar sedan.
Police will allege the vehicle failed to stop for police and a pursuit commenced. The pursuit continued through South Kempsey onto Gowings Hill Road and to Dondingalong where the Nissan Pulsar got bogged on a property on Tabbys Lane, Dondingalong.
The 33-year-old woman was arrested at the scene.
Police will allege the 32-year-old man ran from the vehicle into nearby bushland. He was arrested a short time later with the assistance of the Dog Unit. The man and woman were taken back to Kempsey Police Station where they were charged.
After the man's arrest it was established he was wanted in relation to an alleged break and enter offence committed on March 7, 2021 at a business in south west Sydney.
The man was charged with Police Pursuit - Speed Dangerous 2nd offence, Drive Disqualified, Face blackened/disguised with intent to commit indictable offence, Enter inclosed land not prescribed premises without lawful excuse, Take and drive conveyance without consent of owner, Destroy or damage property =$2000, Break & Enter house etc steal value = $60,000, Destroy or Damage property $15000 and Detention application notice after breach.
He was refused bail to appear at Kempsey Local Court on March 17, 2021.
The 33-year-old woman was charged with Police pursuit - not stop - drive dangerously, Licence expired less than two years before, Passenger not disclose driver's/other passenger's identity.
She was granted conditional bail and will appear at Kempsey Local Court on April 12, 2021.
