INTERNATIONALLY renowned wildlife photographer, Leo Meier, will present a Wildlife Workshop in Kempsey on May 27.
The workshop will be a precursor to a Wildlife in the Macleay exhibition to be held later in the year at the Slim Dusty Centre. It's expected there will be some 60 photographers involved in the exhibition and a display of some 120 photos of local wildlife.
The workshop on May 27 is being organised through the Macleay Valley Arts Council and will provide a great opportunity for keen photographers in the Valley to pick up some handy tips.
"The workshop will be a fantastic opportunity to hear from someone as experienced as Leo Meier. Leo has produced over 30 photography books during his career and is highly regarded," Macleay Valley Arts Council president Steve MacDonald said.
"The workshop will have something interesting for everyone, whether you're a beginner or you have been interested in photography for a long time."
The workshop will run from 5.30pm to 8pm at the Oddfellows Hall in Kemp St.
People are advised to book early as the workshop is expected to be popular. Cost is $10 which includes a light supper. To book call Steve MacDonald on 0410 866-766 or email life.andtimes@hotmail.com
