The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by New South Wales Ambulance at 9.10pm to a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a car and a motorbike.
The 39-year-old male motorbike rider was treated and stabilised by NSW Ambulance paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team for serious lower limb and ankle injuries prior to being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
