While the sport is always fun, netballers across the Macleay had something extra to smile about on Saturday as they put their best socks on and put some funk in their hairstyles.
The appearance choices were for the Macleay Netball Association's crazy hair and sock day, raising money for The Kids Cancer Project.
Kempsey business Tracies Gifts and Homewares donated Mad Mia Socks for the fundraiser as the association raised $251.40 throughout the day.
Well over 50 netball associations across the state held events.
Division 1 winners on Saturday in the Macleay were Natureland Storm, Crescent Head Netball Club Vipers and SWR Sandstorm with the latter winning by one point against Natureland Force.
