Smithtown Tigers and Kempsey Dragons enjoyed home games on Saturday in round 11 of Group 2 junior rugby league.
Both the Tigers and Dragons had wins in under 10s, Smithtown (third) accounting for Woolgoolga with a 40-18 win and Kempsey defeating Bowraville 42-28.
The home side at Smithtown proved why they're first on the ladder, defeating Orara Valley 38-6.
Kempsey's under 12s had a 32-20 win over Bowraville to stay in the top four.
In the under 15's local derby, the Dragons proved too strong, coming away 26-12 winners to put themselves into third and the Tigers in fourth.
Smithtown's under 16's had a forfeit victory to maintain their spot in first while the league tag girls won 44-6 against Orara Valley as they sit in second.
The Group 2 under 16's girls tackle competition is now in full swing with round three to be played at South West Rocks Sporting Fields.
Game times for the Friday night fixtures are:
- 5:30 Woolgoolga vs Bowraville
- 6:15 Smithtown vs Orara
- 7:00 Clarence Coast vs Coffs Harbour
