At the recently held Macleay Athletics Carnival, the school came away with three age champions as well as the overall point score champion school. A fantastic result!
APS have also been successful in our application for a grant from the Macleay Sustainable Schools Grant Program.
The Recycling Station Relocation & Restructure Project will involve the APS enviro team and their extremely successful recycling program to relocate their recycling station.
To take this project to another level the enviro team will be involved in the design and construction of the project.
This grant will continue to build on the school's sustainability programs and ensure students are environmentally conscious global citizens.
The school's senior debating team, Aldavilla Armadillos, continue to sweep all before them.
They have now gone through to the fourth round of the premier's debating challenge.
The dedicated team have worked diligently to hone their debating skills and you can't argue with the fantastic results they have achieved!
The recent Kempsey Eisteddfod proved to be a wonderful opportunity to further showcase the talented students from APS.
The school had numerous winners (23 first place results in total) and place getters across the speech, drama, music and debating sections of the Eisteddfod.
APS students were extremely proud of their efforts, as they should be.
