THE Stringer Gallery in Nambucca Heads has never been busier with many new bright displays and the Nambucca Library now set up in the Main Hall.
Nambucca Valley Arts Council extended the "Australiana" exhibition until October 2 to allow more people the chance to view the fine pastel works on display as COVID-19 restrictions slowly start easing.
Next up is "Imaginings" by Steve Sheppard, the Nambucca Valley Arts Council's October artist of the month.
Steve's exhibition will feature mainly small-scale drawings, alongside acrylic paintings and reliefs.
Everyone is invited to come along to the Stringer Gallery in the Nambucca Community and Arts Centre in Ridge Street Nambucca Heads to view the display.
The gallery is also exhibiting a members' show titled "Landscapes and Scenes Around the World".
Members' works are always on display, but there is a new Feature Exhibition which changes every two months.
The next theme is titled "All About Boats".
Generally about 20 artists exhibit in these members' shows and there is always a surprising variation in styles.
The Gallery is able to supply gift vouchers to the amount of your choice and valid for six months.
All paintings and a great variety of cards are available for purchase. As an added bonus, you can pick up a book from the library at the same time.
There are quiet, comfortable areas for viewing and contemplating fine art as well as sitting and reading.
