Starting in 2001, the syndicate formed out of a group of families and rugby mates who played or associated with the Kempsey Cannonballs.
From there it's grown to include sons, brothers and brother in laws.
Currently there are nine members in the syndicate; Chris Mowle, Steve Keir, Andrew and Jack Bennett, Mitch Stone, Robert and Matt Brennan, Dave Munday and Greg Hollier.
In this year's Akubra Kempsey Cup they'll have Neil Godbolt trained Flying Mojo shooting out of barrier six for a chance at glory.
The race will be the six-year-old gelding's first start since July.
"It's a thrill to have him in the Cup, first up and 1450m isn't quite his cup of tea but the horse is fit and well," co-owner Andrew Bennett explained.
"He'll be thereabouts but it's a strong field, we can be competitive but we'll need some luck.
"We're a local syndicate and we're really excited to have a horse start in the Cup."
The owners have shared an excellent relationship with Godbolt over the years and it was his gelding, Mafia Don, that brought them Cup glory back in 2008.
The celebrations were as expected.
"Winning the Cup in 2008 was one of the highlights for the syndicate in the 20-odd years we've been together," Bennett said.
"It was a massive day, celebrations lasted three or four days, the hangover lasted a week but the memories are still going.
"You can only hope for that to happen again one day, I don't know if that'll happen this Friday but we'll be there and trying."
Jockey Louise Day will be in the saddle as Flying Mojo looks to add to its five career wins.
"I think Louise has ridden him once, I like her, she's a great jockey and she'll give him every chance," Bennett added.
