Rovers were first to bat in their fixture against the Frederickton Fleas with Jamie Cooper (2/13) striking early to have the score at 1/4.

Cooper was the recipient of the second wicket as well, removing Tony Duncan for 10 with Rovers 2/31 after six overs.

Dowling, batting at first drop, then turned momentum - picking gaps for one's and two's as well as hitting long bombs.

With eight 4's and six 6's the youngster left the Fleas attack with no answers as he and Scott Witchard (20) led their side to a score of 5/166.

Amazingly, coming into the 19^th over, Dowling was only on 74. The last three balls of that over went for six with a further eight runs needed off the last.

His partner down the end, Steven Morn, aptly turned the strike over, with Dowling hitting a single off the last ball to bring up his century.

In reply, the Fleas struggled to maintain partnerships with Jamie Cooper and Dane Callaghan's sixth-wicket 29-run stand the highest in their innings.

Cooper finished on 45 not out as Frederickton reached 7/119 from their 20 overs.

Carlin Dunbar-Rudd and Ben Brennan grabbed two wickets each.

Nulla KMRSLC vs Frederickton Fleas:

The Rovers fixture wasn't the first for the Fleas on Saturday, coming up against Nulla beforehand.

Thanks to some excellent bowling, a low total was set for Nulla after Frederickton were first to bat.

Nicholas Pavan (25) and Nicolas Marriott (20) were the highest scorers after leg-spinning duo of Beau Mainey and Ronan O'Loughlin ripped through to claim two and three wickets each.

At one stage in their chase, Nulla sat precariously at 3/33 after wickets to Ben Goulder (1/26), Jamie Cooper (1/14) and Brendan Roache (1/20).

However, the partnership of Dan Baker and Beau Mainey averted any present danger.

The two all-rounders stuck around for the long haul as Nulla reached the required target of 3/93 from 15.5 overs.
