Two cases are from the Port Macquarie-Hastings Local Government Area (LGA) and there is one case each from Bellingen, Nambucca Valley and Kempsey LGAs.
Three of the cases are household contacts of a confirmed case and the source of infection of two cases is under investigation.
This is the first time there has been a COVID-19 case reported in the Bellingen LGA in the current NSW outbreak.
This case has been isolating and investigations are underway to determine if there are any potential exposure sites of public concern.
There have been 477 cases reported in the District since June 2021.
Testing clinics are operating on the Mid North Coast including at Bellingen Hospital (from 1pm to 5pm) and Coffs Harbour International Stadium (until 4pm).
Please come forward for testing if you experience any symptoms. COVID-19 symptoms include a fever, sore throat, cough, runny nose, shortness of breath or loss of taste or smell.
All Local Government Areas in the Mid North Coast Local Health District are at more than 95 per cent first-dose vaccinated, but there are still plenty of opportunities to get the jab to protect yourself, your loved ones and the community.
For COVID-19 updates, including case locations, testing and vaccination clinic details and information about self-isolation, visit the NSW Government website www.nsw.gov.au.
