The Great Christmas bake off has started the festive season off with a bang.
There were delicious looking cakes, cupcakes and biscuits on display at the competition on the weekend, which was jointly run by the Country Women's Association and St Vincent De Paul.
Vinnies Kempsey representative, Chontelle Shore said the day was a lot of fun.
"It was great, we have all gotten inspired by it and want to make it bigger and better next year," Ms Shore said.
"The real nice thing about it was the young people who got involved, the kids did an amazing job and it was just really good to see a real nice community event."
Although there were some brilliant submissions in each category, there could only be three prize winners. They were:
Under 14s Christmas treat: Lilly and Josie Box.
Best cake: Destiny Collingwood.
Best cupcake: Tina Sternbauer.
President of the Kempsey CWA, Colleen Waterson wanted to thank everyone that baked for the competition, and the group hopes to see more people up for the challenge next year.
