The unique layout of the exhibition provides an immersive experience, with each room having a different exhibitor on display. The styles include digital photography, astrophotography, nature photography and light painting.
Built in 1902, the heritage listed building is a part of the Pilot Station Complex and is evidence of Australia's rich history in the shipping trade along the east coast of New South Wales.
Rocks Camera Club committee member, Shirley Adams said they are excited to show off their work.
"The Camera Club would love for the public to come see our displays and have a look at the Pilot's Cottage," Mrs Adams said.
"The main reason we are having the exhibition on at the moment, is because in March the cottage will become a full time gallery."
The club had seen that the building had been vacant for 12 months, and decided something needed to be done.
"South West Rocks needed their own gallery, so the club is applying for grants at the moment to try and get that up and running," Mrs Adams said.
"We are a very diverse group of photographers, with each individual unique in their own style and they are not your average everyday photos."
Located on the corner of Gregory Street and Ocean Drive, South West Rocks, the exhibition is open everyday from 10am - 4pm.
Entry is free, and the show is set to run until Sunday the 30th of January.
