A huge weekend of festivities has been planned for Kempsey To celebrate International Day of People with Disability (IDPWD) Kempsey's Riverside Park will again play host to the Big Day Out on Friday, December 1. This is an inclusive event that the whole community is invited to attend. It will be followed by the Kempsey Twilight Christmas Markets and then the Spirit of the Macleay Dragon Boat Regatta, also seen from the riverbank.
The North Coast Trucking Social Club is holding its annual Christmas Party and Charity giveaway this Saturday at Hat Head Park, from 11am. This family day is also a chance for the club to giveaway money raised during the recent Kempsey Truck Show, to local charities in need. There will be families activities and food and drinks. Parents can bring wrapped gifts for Santa to give to their children.

The Summer Reading Club (SRC) is a free program that encourages kids to read, play and try out new things during the school holidays.
