Nick Hassatas said coming to regional towns and watching the kids enjoy the free racing simulators is the best part of his job.
“It pays off, seeing the people in rural communities enjoy the truck and what it has to offer,” Mr Hassatas said.
The Shannons Super Rig is in high demand with some events and festivals across Australia waiting for long periods of time before the truck is available.
“Some people wait for years before we’re able to bring the truck to the town, it’s very popular.”

Mr Hassatas said although the truck is part of the Shannons company, it’s separate to the insurance that the company offers.
“It’s completely separate to the insurance, there’s no one inside trying to sell insurance. It’s just a fun and informative place for people to enjoy and learn about cars.”
Everything in the truck is free, including the racing game simulators and interactive screens.
“There’s no limit to the scope of where it goes. We can just pull up and set it up and it’s ready for people to walk through.”
Mr Hassatas lives in the truck and travels around Australia 50 weeks of the year attending a number of shows and festivals, but this will be the first time the truck has been to a market.
Locals can check out the Shannons Super Rig on Saturday from 8am at the Riverside Markets.
