In keeping with its philosophy of recycling, reusing and re-purposing materials, Kempsey Neighbourhood Centre is running open community craft groups on Friday mornings.

Each week’s craft is something different and exciting and the group’s aim is to teach a skill, while meeting new people and coming up with initiative ideas for future classes.

We have already made some great macrame hangers, beautiful dream catchers and sensational jewellery.

The next community craft group’s class is this Friday, October 5 from 10am until noon.

A light lunch is served at the conclusion of the class.
