The 2019 season will be the dawn of a new era for Kempsey Saints as Matthew Baker has stepped down as president after more than 10 years in the top job.

Baker will remain involved with the club as he has signed on to continue as Coaching Coordinator until the end of the 2021 season.
At the club’s recent AGM, Luke Flanagan was elected as the new president while James Rossiter was appointed as vice-president.
As Coaching Coordinator, Baker’s focus has turned to appointing the coaching staff for the 2019 season.
He will work with players and coaches over the next three years to develop skill level training and a playing style that can be adapted by the junior and senior squads.
Saints are accepting nominations from any coaches currently oustide of the club who would like to be involved in the Saints system. Nominations can be emailed to kempseysaintsfc@footballmidnorthcoast.net.au.
After seeing record registrations of more than 520 players in 2018, the Kempsey Saints are hopeful of seeing similar numbers this year.
The club held their 2018 junior presentation at the Kempsey Pool while the seniors was held at the major sponsor, which is the West Kempsey Hotel.
An Under-6s ‘come and try it’ clinic will run at Sea St Oval (behind St Joseph’s Primary School) on Wednesday February 6, 13 and 20.
