The prestigious award results in Georgia advancing to represent the Mid North Coast Branch at the state selection in Sydney.
The program is for Under-13 and Under-14 members who are the branch winners of the Junior Lifesaver of the Year award.
The focus of this camp is a combination of fun and learning through experience.
Participants are involved in physical challenges, information sharing in presentations and discussions, activities and scenarios which require leadership, teamwork and communication.
Participants also work on a project which can be implemented at their Branch during the program.
Newcastle Permanent sponsors the program, which enables young lifesavers to promote all aspects of what they love about Surf Life Saving.
