This year the NSW Government will invest an additional $100 million for school maintenance across NSW public schools, bringing the total investment to $847 million over four years.
The NSW Liberals and Nationals Government is also in the process of undertaking a $6 billion school building program over the next four years, which will deliver more than 170 new and upgraded schools to support NSW communities.
Local member for Oxley, Melinda Pavey, said the Government’s funding for NSW public schools is exciting for local schools in the area.
“Put simply, not only does this extra funding ensure our local schools are maintained to the best standards, it helps underpin something I am passionate about: that every student has an equal opportunity to achieve excellence,” Ms Pavey said.
