According to Weatherzone, the Mid North Coast is forecast to be cloudy with a very high chance of showers and possible thunderstorms. Winds are SE 15 to 25 km/h increasing to 20 to 30 km/h in the evening and temperatures are expected between 22 and 29 degrees.
Today in Kempsey there is a 90 per cent chance of 10-20mm and 10km winds are blowing in a SSW direction. Tomorrow the rains will ease off with only a 60 per cent chance of 1-5mm, while the wind speeds are expected to reach a top of 25km towards the evening.
The weekend will bring possible showers and a 70 per cent chance of 1-5mm on both Saturday and Sunday. Early next week Monday and Tuesday we could be in for more showers and a 60 per cent chance of 1-5mm. Wednesday could see wet weather, a 90 per cent chance of 5-10mm.
Meanwhile, in South West Rocks there is a thunderstorm forecast and a 90 per cent chance of 10-20mm. Southerly winds are expected to reach highs of 22km in the evening, with a low of 15km throughout the day. There are possible showers tomorrow and a 60 per cent chance of 1-5mm, while the wind speeds could get as high as 38km, with a low of 35km.
South West Rocks is set to have a wet and windy weekend; there is a 70 per cent chance of 1-5mm and wind speeds could get up to 41km. Sunday has a late shower and a 70 per cent chance of 1-5mm. While the start of next week has clearing showers and a 60 per cent chance of 1-5mm for Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday has possible rain and a 90 per cent chance of 5-10mm.
Over at Crescent Head, the weather is forecast the same as Kempsey with a 90 per cent chance of 10-20mm and 10km winds today, a 60 per cent chance of 1-5mm and 25km winds tomorrow.
The weekend will bring possible showers and a 70 per cent chance of 1-5mm on both Saturday and Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are forecast for more possible showers and a 60 per cent chance of 1-5mm. Wednesday could see wet weather with a 90 per cent chance of 5-10mm.
