I am very disappointed in Coles’ current public position to not act to immediately to delete their home brand $1 litre milk range.

Coles’ refusal to increase the retail price of home brand milk from $1 to at least match Woolworths’ offering of $1.10 on one litre, $2.20 on two litres and $3.30 on three litres in favour of supporting “many customers cost of living pressures”, appears to show their apparent lack of empathy for dairy farmers who work 365-days-a-year to produce that quality milk for their customer’s consumption.
Woolworths’ extra 10 cents going back to dairy farmers who produce this quality product could be argued as not being enough to support the industry which is on its knees, but at least they have done something!
The dairy farmers in the Macleay Valley all supply Norco which supplies the Coles house brand milk.
It’s very disappointing that Norco’s key partner Coles does not appear to be supporting us.
It begs the question as to why we should continue to support them?
