Crescent Head will play host to more than 70 local surfers who will compete in the Crescent Head Surf Rally this Saturday.

The competition will commence at 7am and organiser Roger Fergursson is expecting an exciting competition.
"There's a lot of talented surfers out here in our small town and they are very much looking forward to putting on a show for the crowd," Fergursson said.
The participants will compete in a range of different divisions including; Old Mal, Over 50s, Open Malibu, Ladies Malibu and retro (boards from the 70s and 80s which have one or two fins).
"We have tried to cater for everyone and we think everyone will be happy," Fergursson said.
There will also be a junior division with the majority of the participants from Crescent Head Public School.
The competition will end with a presentation held in the adjacent car park at 4pm.
