There will be a number of activities and demonstrations throughout the day to keep locals entertained and informed.
"We really encourage the community to come along and experience some of the work we do," station commander Tony Hackenberg said.
Some of the demonstrations will include the use of a thermal imagery camera, fire blanket and extinguisher display, fire hose handling, hazmat display, fire truck tour and there will be two road rescue demonstrations throughout the day.
"We're now involved in a lot of different call outs in the community. We don't just fight fires, so this is a really good way for the community to see the types of jobs we do," Mr Hackenberg said.
Locals can also ask any questions they may have about fire safety in their home.
The Salvation Army will also be there on the day and will be holding a sausage sizzle.
The station will be open to the community from 10am to 2pm on Saturday.
If you've ever wanted to see a road crash rescue scenario playing out, jump aboard a fire truck or find out how to become a firefighter, Saturday's open day is your chance.
