The Gladstone Campdraft has accepted 1200 entries for competition over the October long weekend this year.

The annual event extended to three days last year and it will follow suit in 2019.
The action will get under way at 6am on Saturday October 5 and Sunday at the same time while there will be a 6.30am start on Monday.
The campdraft events include the Maiden Novice, Open, Ladies, Encouragement and two junior competitions.
Entries have been received from the Hunter Region, Queensland border, Tamworth and everywhere in between.
Gladstone Campdraft committee member Barbara Fraser encourages locals to attend to witness an exciting spectacle.
"Entry is free and everyone is welcome to come along to watch skillful riders showcase their abilities," she said.
