The grant will contribute to the costs of travel and accommodation, which is associated with playing cricket at a representative level and living in a regional town.
Federal Member for Cowper Pat Conaghan said the grant is also a reward for Harry's parents, who make sacrifices to allow him to improving his sporting talents.
"The grant is also for the parents who are up early in the morning and stay out late at night to take their children to sports training to allow the young athletes to fulfil their dreams," MP Conaghan told the Argus.
Nemme is the first reserve for the NSW Country Under-17s side and the left arm quick claims being overlooked for selection has increased his determination.
"Missing out on the team has increased my desire to prove the selectors wrong and show them they should have picked me for the team," Nemme told the Argus.
"It has lit a fire in me to work harder to improve and achieve my goals."
The Year 11 St Paul's College student plans to have a successful season with Rovers in the Premier League and will put himself in contention for selection into the Under-18s North Coast side when he attends a trial in Tamworth on the October long weekend.
Nemme expressed his gratitude to the his mentors Troy and Callan McKiernan, Woody and his father who takes him everywhere to play the sport he loves.
