According to Weatherzone, Kempsey received 6.6mm on Saturday, and 0.8mm on Sunday. While this was far short of the predicted falls, every little bit helps. Sadly this appears to be the end of the wet weather, with no more downpours predicted in the next seven days.
Kempsey is forecast for warm Spring weather for the next week. Today was mostly sunny with a top of 24 degrees and tomorrow is expected to be mostly sunny and reach highs of 28.

Wednesday will pass into the thirties, with 31 degrees predicted, while Thursday takes it up another notch to 33. Friday will see a return to colder weather with a high of 26.
The weekend is forecast to be moderately warm with two sunny days and tops of 29 degrees. Rain only has a small chance, and we will have to wait until next week now to see if more is on the horizon.
So far the wettest day for October has been the 1st with 12.6mm falling. The total for the month so far is standing at 20.6mm. The driest October on record is 2003 when only 9.4mm fell; the wettest was 2004 with 247.8mm.
