"The team is looking forward to once again competing in the rugby sevens this Saturday," Coach Jarred Fuller told the Argus.
"The whole squad has trained well over the past few weeks and a host of new, young faces have brought a real energy to the team.
"The players who took part last year will be expected to lead from the front and guide these younger players around."
This weekend, five of the newest recruits will make their debut, and Fuller is excited to see what the fresh talent will bring to the table.
"Ethan Thompson, Miles Mongta, Conrad Lardner, Tyler Roberts and Jesse Douglas will all make their Crescent Head 7's debut this weekend," he said.
"We're excited about what these guys can bring to the team."
This is only the second year the team has competed, but after a very successful run in their first year, the team will be one to watch in the upcoming tournament.
"Everyone is looking forward to the tournament, and we believe we're going to be extremely competitive throughout the day," Fuller said.
"A huge thank you must go to our sponsors Lahey's Joinery, Northey's Denture Clinic, MW Rogers Associates, Kempsey Locksmiths and Macleay Welding Engineering.
"Without these sponsors, the running of this program would not be possible."
