The "Resurrection" sculpture was crafted by Lisa and Ian Domeny and took about a week to piece together.
Lisa said after the bushfire crisis, they wanted to create an item which not only represented the fires and their devastation, but also renewal and regrowth.
"A sculpture which depicted that no matter how bad things get, there is always hope," she said.
Lisa said the small leaf in the sculpture is representative of the hope.
"It's the symbol that highlights it doesn't matter what life throws at us, we will be ok," she said.
"We will survive. We will pick ourselves up from the ashes, dust ourselves off and carry on. That's the Aussie spirit."
Lisa was in charge of making and piecing together the glass work for the sculpture, while Ian crafted the timber parts.
Lisa said they wanted to do their bit for the bushfire effort and put some hope into people's minds.
Lisa is hoping the sculpture will remain in the local area, however the highest bidder from the auction will receive it.
To make a bid, visit the Love and Light Leadlight Sculptures Facebook page. The sculpture is 27cm wide and 1.1 m high.
The auction ends on February 9 and the highest bidder will be announced. Delivery will be paid for anywhere in Australia.
