A team from the ADF has commenced clearing work, including removing trees and debris, on Toorumbee Road.
Trees have already been cleared from the road allowing for 4 wheel drive access up to a large landslip along the route.
Work on the road has continued over the long weekend, and a council team are set to start on the landslip soon, with further works to occur along the route in the coming weeks.
Council teams will progressively gain an understanding of the repairs required on the road as they move along the site.
Some repairs may take considerable time to achieve, and a degree of patience is asked of the community while restorations and clean up takes place.
